Hiroko TAKAHAMA

1969 born in KOBE, JAPAN

She grew up in the central Kobe where is known as an international port city.She loved drawing alone since her childhood.She could feel sound by seeing colors and feel colors by hearing sound, then incorporate those feelings into drawings, music and poems.She entered Saga Art College in Kyoto at age 18 with traditional style Japanese painting major, and learned the way of drawing using natural sources such as mud, rocks, shells, etc. After graduating from the college, she returned to her hometown, Kobe. Then short time after her return, due to her father's passing, she started being involved with her family business.in 1991,a at her age 22, she had a chance to hold an exhibit of her artwork that she had drawn at the store her family owned. 

Since then, she had met many artists in different areas, and her ways of expressions got broadened to stage arts, costume designs, and writings in addition to drawings with influence from those artists. In 1995, when she was 25, there was a devastating earthquake hit Kobe and killed more than 6000 people. She realized the preciousness of life. In 1991, at her age 30, her family business was closed, and she moved to Tokyo, but returned to Kobe again after 4 years living in Tokyo. in 2008, at her age 39, she went to India to study Rabindranath Tagore philosophy and lived in a farm village in Bengal district for one year. During her stay in India, she had learned to see roots of things by being surrounded by power of nature in India.

At age 42, she went to Spain and studied under Mr. Etsuro Sotoo, the chief sculptor at Sagrada Fmilia who delivered philosophy of Antonio Gaudi. She had an opportunity to think about human dignity.

She also loves to travel. She introduces "moments" that she finds during traveling one place to another or even during her daily life by transforming into colors & shapes. Her drawing are just like the sound of her soul.

高濱浩子(たかはまひろこ)

1969月2月　神戸に生まれる

家は神戸元町にて百年続く文房具店と貿易商を営んでいた　

幼い頃から色を見ては音が感じ音をきけば色が感じ、それを絵にしたり曲にしたり詩をよんだ

1987年（18歳）嵯峨美術短期大学に入り日本画を学ぶ　

父の急死を機に家業に加わる　家業では毎年パリへ、前衛サーカスなど劇場を見てまわり舞台美術への関心が深まる

1991年（22歳）絵画作品展覧会を開く

様々な分野のアーティストと出会い影響を受け、展覧会での作品発表やイラストなど活動の場を広げる

1995年（25歳）神戸に大地震　

1999年（30歳）家業閉業とともに東京に居を移す

アートユニットゼンマイカムパニーとして、使用済み切手を使用した「旅する切手」を発表（～2007年）

本の装丁や舞台美術や舞台衣装など仕事の機会を得る

2004年（35歳）神戸に帰る　特定非営利法人芸術と計画会議（C.A.P.）に参加

2008年（39歳）詩人ラビンドラナート・タゴールの思想を学ぶために、インド国立Visva-Bharati University留学。ベンガル地方農村部で約一年暮らす

2011年（42歳）彫刻家外尾悦郎氏（サグラダファミリア贖罪聖堂主任建築家）に師事
